Thelma and Louise treat Ducky and Monk like their own kids, changing their clothes, feeding them…taking them everywhere we go.
If we have to leave them at home, the girls always sweetly explain to Ducky and Monk why they aren’t allowed to come with us.
Today, the girls decided to homeschool their own “kids”.

We’ve just left Parrot Mountain and now here we are at Wonderworks. Wonderworks calls themselves an “Amusement Park for the Mind” that offers things such as an Inversion Tunnel (My kids freaked out and refused to go thru this.), a Bubble Lab, Optical Illusion Art, a Light and Sound Zone, Disaster Simulators, and tons more! I’m taking Thelma and Louise on a field trip with their homeschool co-op. Where are we going today? We’re headed to Parrot Mountain and Wonderworks. Sometimes the kids need a change of environment when we homeschool so I decide to move the classroom to STARBUCKS. Yes, Starbucks….because when you homeschool, you can do that! We take our butts, our books, and our bikes out to the land of Java so that Mommy can also get her much needed caffeine.

I know there are people who are out there that are like, “Homeschool?!?!? How do your kids get the “social” part of school?” My response is…”Besides letting the kids out of their cage for about an hour a day to stretch out their legs, we occasionally take them to the local grocery store to see how other humans interact.”
