Since the weather was around 60F and sunny, we took full advantage. Along with my parents Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac (not pictured because they’re walking laps around the track), we head with the kids and the dogs to a simple yet beautiful park and a most fabulous PIER. I love piers!
THE PARK.
We take the kids to an old park that is very simple. I like it because there aren’t a thousand kids and I can keep up with mine. Plus, I know that even without the fancy shmancy stuff, they’ll have a great time regardless.
It’s one of the beauties of being young and free!

THE PIER.
In addition to having fun, we also go to enjoy nature and walk around.
There is a launch pad for boats with a fantastic pier. I have a thing for piers…just love them!
We go there to enjoy the fabulous view and chill.
Thelma and Louise are trying to see who can throw their stick out the farthest.
Sometimes, the classic blooper happens as they are swinging to get their stick out there the farthest and the stick accidentally comes flying back towards me instead of out in the water.
Being a parent is occasionally dangerous.

When my sunglasses aren’t over my eyes, you’ll usually see them on my head. That way I don’t lose them. Except for when I forget they are there and think I have lost them…which OCCASIONALLY happens.

THE COUPLES ARE OUT.
SUNDOWN
The sun is going down and the boats are coming back in.
Waves make for a bumpy pier. It’s a like a amusement park ride…well, more like a traveling fair ride.
Yes, life is good.
