Stuffed Animal World. Plus, Monk & Dick have bonding time.

You know how some people have imaginary friends growing up? Well, Thelma has a world called “Stuffed Animal World”.

This is where Munck comes from…who she believes to be very real, growing and living with feelings and emotions. Munck is very much part of the family (Ducky as well.).

STUFFED ANIMAL WORLD

Stuffed Animal World is a world where are stuffed animals are real. They have feelings and they are alive. This is Stuffed Animal World. Anything can happen and everything goes in Stuffed Animal World.

Part of Stuffed Animal World is located in a piece of young pine tree landscaping next to a shopping center where we walk and bike. Whenever we pass it, we go on a tour through the trees and visit Stuff Animal World.

Stuffed Animal World was quite BEAUTIFUL when we had snow.

MUNCK AND DICK BOND

On the day that Dick was coming back from Gotham City, Thelma and I are eating.

“I can’t believe that Munck and I have been apart for 5 days!”

“What do you mean?”

“Oh, Munck went with Daddy to Gotham City.”

“Oh! Did you make sure you reminded Daddy to bring Munck back with you?”

“Yeah, I already talked to him. Munck is with him.”

“Oh, ok, good.”

So after Dick gets home, I see this:

To: daddy.

I (heart) you.

Superies!

(Surprise)

Munk is coming with you.

(Look who changed the spelling of Monk again. I thought it was Munck!)

(Yes, the Ole Man just celebrated turning 38! Dayum, almost pushing 40! Yeah, ok, ya look good. Still.)

So, Munck accompanied Dick all the time and came back safe and sound.

Hangnails: Amazing how such a tiny thing can cause SO MUCH PAIN.

Hangnails are the absolute WORST. They are little pieces of torn skin around your cuticles and it’s usually because your skin is dry. Mine is dried to hell from painting and washing my hands constantly. Plus, it’s winter and my bony hands just get dry. One time, I held my own hand and I was like, DANG. It’s like holding hands with Skeletor!

Anyway, I digress. It’s SO unbelievable how this little sucker can cause one SO MUCH PAIN.

And, the only way to get rid of the pain is to get rid of IT!

Only, I’m at Starbucks and I don’t happen to have my handy dandy cuticle cutters on me.

Not even nail clippers! But the pain is just unbearable, so, I have to just suck it up, hold my breath…and…

YOWZERS!!!! Fucking shit fuck damn!!

I use all the might I have in my thumb and pointer finger to pull the sucker out.

That FUCKING HURTS! (and I’m even bleeding a little. See? Blood.)

But, it’s still better than leaving the dang thing there and feeling the constant throbbing pain of a hang nail.

Pulling hangnails out hurt like a mother at first, but, then at least it goes away.

Ah, much better.

FINALLY! The finished painted techno-colored girls room!

My project of painting the girls room is complete! (Well, I’m still waiting on Fanny Mae to get me the pillows.)

I know it’s drawn out to a few days but that’s just how these things go. Decorating or redecorating, takes time.

THELMA & LOUISE’S ROOM

The girls share a queen platform bed that I pushed up to the wall to make it more “loungy”. It also makes the room look more spacious.

We had a comforter that actually goes with the decor so I’m super excited about this. This makes my project even less costly than I thought!

I also had found two of their dresses that I thought looked good on the walls but, after I added the custom designs on the walls…I found it be too much, so I removed them.

I’m sorry the green always looks different. It constantly changes in my house too! So weird. Warmer and more yellowy in the day, and more cold, techno green in the evening. And then changes every color in between if it’s sunny or cloudy outside.

I am LOVING their room. I love it more than my room now. My room is SO BLAH but repainting that one is not easy. The furniture is too heavy for me to move around by myself so I’m less motivated to start that project.

I think I’m going to move into this room instead. Every time I walk by it, I just have to look in and smile. I LOVE LVOE LOVE it! Makes me all giddy inside. Dick likes it as well and agrees that our room is so drab and boring now. Well, do I hear someone volunteering to HELP me???

EXPENSES

So, basically, besides all the hours of work I put into it, cost wise, here’s roughly what I spent:

TOTAL $145!!

Not bad for a new room.

You know, when you do something yourself, you love it THAT MUCH MORE!

That’s why I love my house so much!!

Some added PIZZAZZ: More Custom wall painting

In addition to painting the walls, I also wanted to add something “extra”. I went online and found some inspiration for the room. The flowers are just beautiful.

I love the colors but decide to replicate it in a simpler form.

I pencil the drawing on the wall first. This is where the bulk of the work comes in.

As you can see, it takes alot of erasing to get it right.

Then it’s time to paint it!

I also use a butterfly from another picture I found.

Now, the wall with the chalkboard is pretty barren. So I use this picture as inspiration and one of the butterflies from the other one.

I didn’t like the flowers not empty like this so I try filling in a few.

No, not doing it for me.

Much better.

And, of course, there’s the mac daddy of them all, which I posted the Fast Forwarded Video.

Ok, I think I’m done now. At least, that’s what my body is saying.
