Yes, it’s been 14 years since our very first date and we go out to celebrate.
Being that we had this “snow storm”, no one is out and many places are closed.
This is one of the few times where I’m still game to go out despite the cold.

It’s too cold for me to sport a cute dress so I throw on the spike collar and bracelet.
Yes, I’m feeling the goth. Besides, I haven’t actually gotten to wear the spiked collar. Dick wore it the last two times…once for my birthday and the other time when we went out for Halloween. Dayum I’m pale in the winter.
Dick decides to go with a preppy but casually cool look…vintage tie, a button down and kacky’s. Yes, kacky’s. Well, they’re more like khacky cargo pants. We couldn’t look any more different.
We decide to go to a Jazz place where there is a live band. Luckily, they are open!
We share a bottle of wine.
We order some tartar.
And we’re chillin’, enjoying the band. They are super cool.
I love the music they are playing. Old 80s funk.
They play one of my FAVORITE songs.
CROWDED HOUSE: Don’t Dream It’s Over.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song.
I don’t have video of their rendition but they did a great job.
Here’s the original video though.
The band finds out that it’s our anniversary and ask us if they play some slow songs, if we would dance. Heck yeah we’ll dance! No one else is but I’m definitely gonna dance with my man.
They play “Allison” by Elvis Costello…
And “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaac. I love this video. HAWT!
Thank you guys for making our night so enjoyable! But, it’s not done yet…
PING PONG
The Jazz Club closed early due to the weather but I still want to hang. What do I want to do?
PLAY PING PONG!
I know we have a table at home, but it’s fun to go out and play too.
So we hit a sports bar where I like to play pool.

It’s so funny how whenever we come here to play ping pong, eventually we’ll have someone wanting to play against us in ping pong. They always act like they don’t know that you have to pay by the hour to play, just like pool. These aren’t quarter tables where when you win, you get to take the table!
Whatever though, we welcome anyone who wants an ass-kicking in ping pong. It’s good practice and I love a challenge when playing against others. We played a few games and another few guys left with their tails tucked behind them.
I had a fantastic time with my baby! Thanks Lovie.
Dayum, 14 YEARS!
I can’t believe I have put up with you for so long!
(Dick says the same thing about me.)
