We’re on our way to a friend’s house and the girls are a little hungry.
“I hope they have pizza there. I’m starving!
(Thelma)
“Or maybe they have guacamole…”
(Louise)
“…or sushi!”
(Louise)
“Um, I don’t think they’ll have guacamole or sushi. Most kids don’t like that kind of stuff.”
(Me)
“But we do!”
(The Kids)
” Yeah, we do. But we’re…”
(Me, then Louise interrupts…)
“We’re WEIRD!”
(Louise)
“No, we’re not weird! We’re different. Everyone’s different.”
(Me)
“We’re unique.”
(Louise)
“Yes, we’re unique.”
(Me)

Hahaha Those are my kind of foodie kids! One of my husband’s niece (2nd grader) can devour sashimi faster than some adults. We love eating sushi with her. Your kids are awesome too.
