So this Jane and her girls love to color.
So, we invite Daddy to join us.
Dick ends up really getting into it and loves it.
Sometimes we forget those simple things from our childhood that are still enjoyable as adults.
JANE’S COLORING
I choose this princess picture from Louise’s coloring book.
I start out by coloring the hair. Black is the color I decide on for her hair.
Only, it looks like gray.
I ask Dick what he thinks of my work so far…
He tells me it looks like I haven’t done anything to it.
Dammit, he’s right.
So, I make the hair a little darker and add some color to it.
Only, it too is not dark enough and the hair still needs some UMMMFFFF.
Using the black, I add highlights.
This is not your typical princess. This is my Goth princess…Bella is her name.
OUR FINISHED WORKS
Thelma produces two pieces.
This and another one of ballet shoes (seen below).
Louise produces two pieces.
Dick produces two pieces.
And me, I take my perfectionistic artist’s time so I only produce one.
Since Bella is my Goth princess, I decide to leave her face white.
Dick however, makes his dude, Edward, look just peachy.
Edward fancies my Bella.
This will not be the last time we have family coloring time.
So, are you a coloring Jane or Dick?
-Jane, Fan of coloring.
