About a week ago, Thelma told me she wanted her next bike to be a BMX. Girlfriend is way FIERCE. She LOVES to bike. After she said, it, I just kinda threw it in the back of my mind thinking it would be a WHILE before she got a BMX!
Then, the other day while I was at Goodwill shopping for some stuff for mine and June Cleaver’s upcoming PIMPs and HOs Partay.
I spot some bikes. I’m on the hunt for some good bikes that I can keep as extras at my house for guests. I didn’t see anything nice, except this one pink and black bike.
It had the metal bars off the sides of the front and back wheels so I was like,
“Oh good. Louise can ride on the metal bars.”
I didn’t even realize it was a BMX cause I don’t know anything about BMXs. It wasn’t until I went up to the counter that the guy told me it was.
He said it was a name brand one. MONGOOSE. Whatever. I woudn’t know if it was.
I don’t really care. It looks pretty and seems like a decent bike.
Plus, it’s only $30!
Anyway, turns out it’s a 20″ MONGOOSE BMX Girl’s FREESTYLE Bike.
New is $89 at Wal-mart.
The tires need more air and the kick stand needs fixing but overall, I’d say I got a kickass deal!
Plus, Thelma was ECSTATIC over it. She LOVES it!!
