Do you remember when I said that I met this lady at the park and she had locked herself out of her car? (Click HERE for the story.)
Well, her and her girls sat in my car while they waited for a ride. So, we chatted while she was in the car. I find out that she moved to Metropolis from California and that her husband plays in a band. Very cool. We exchange emails.
So, the crazy thing is this. I just realized after going out with my hubby for our 14-year anniversary, that the lead singer of the live band that played for us at the Jazz Club is HER husband!
I didn’t realize it at the time but he mentioned a few things that for some reason, clicked with me the day after.
He said that he was happily married for over 20 years. He also said he was from California and had 2 girls.
Somehow that merged into my head with the woman and two girls from the other day and I thought…maybe. Luckily, she wrote down her husband’s name as well as her email, because I told her how Dick and I like to listen to live bands on occasion. When I went to find her email, I found out, I was right!
It was him!
So weird and so funny. It’s a very small world people and you never know who you are going to meet. It’s just so funny to me how I met these two strangers on two separate random occasions not knowing that they were married.
Well, they are two fantastically nice people and I’m glad I got to meet them!
Just another one of my “Dang, that’s weird!” moments.
