Now that another 2 teeth have given way, it was time for Louise to cash in. However, she first wanted to wait for Eminem, Taylor and Auntie Lucy (who was coming the following weekend) to get here so she could show them off.
Louise put each tooth in a box and after having made sure everyone got a chance to see those lovely things, she was ready to put them under her pillow.
We were at the Grandparents house again and for some reason, Louise wanted to sleep on one of their couches.
She carefully placed the boxes under her pillow…
…and bid me good night.
Next morning, Louise excitedly told me that the TOOTH FAIRY had given her $15!
$15 for two teeth! No wonder these girls are pulling their teeth out left and right.
Later my mom tells me that my dad, Freddie Mac, told Louise that morning that HE had put $10 of the $15 that was under her pillow. Freddie, knows nothing of the tooth fairy tradition and thought he was gifting Louise $10 for the tooth and wanted credit for it.
“You mean the tooth fairy only gave me $5 for TWO TEETH???”
Upon hearing this, Fanny Mae was in a FRENZY and I’m sure was CUSSING him in Vietnamese in her head.
Later she comes back to Louise.
“Are you SURE you looked carefully?”
Can we say DEJA VUE?
What do you know but this time when Louise came back to her sleeping spot, MIRACULOUSLY, a $10 bill had SOMEHOW slipped out of place and was stuck in between the cushions of the couch. Sound familiar? Flash back to the last time Tooth Fairy paid us a visit.
So the tooth fairy gave you $15 for two teeth afterall!! Nice job TOOTH FAIRY. My little meth head is super ELATED.
Now honey, don’t go and thpend all your money on crack candy at wonth!
