With all the tornados going on in Mississippi, we’re getting the aftereffects here in Metropolis. Dick, the girls and I were spending the night at my parents house when we just had a HUGE rain storm. When I came home this morning to get started on the million of things I need to do, this is what I saw in our back yard.
We had three trees fall down.
This one is the one that always worried me because it’s right by our bedrooms and extremely close to the house.
I’m so glad it fell the other way! It came out from the root!!
This tree also took out another tree and my neighbor’s tree also fell into my forest.
Although I’m thankful to not have to worry about that one tree falling on us anymore,
it’s also a little sad, a living thing so beautiful is no longer.
Now I gotta figure out a way to get it out of here.
