My good friend of ten years, Orlando Bloom, is in LA visiting his family for the holidays. I met Orlando when we both worked at Ford together. We were in the same New Employee Orientation group as my other friends seen at the Pimps and Ho’s party.
But, the reason you don’t see him pictured here is because when I met Orlando, he was not social at all. He had a girlfriend that his world revolved around and that was it. But that’s just how Orlando is.
Now whenever Orlando is in town, his parents unsuccessfully try to set up him with all kinds of girls who are basically all daughters of their friends.
Now, I’m on the hunt for a good woman for him. Actually, I already have a person in mind but I’m on the hunt for a backup. There’s no guarentees she’ll like him or him her.
So let me tell you about my good friend:
He’s a gentleman. You remember we went to the beach Christmas Day. Did you notice an extra person?
Here he is helping Mama F…helping the elderly is a great trait, no?
Orland is very helpful, as seen here carrying my purse. It takes a pretty confident man to carry a woman’s bag.
Here he is talking to Thelma. Patient with kids…also a great trait.
Orlando is an Aerospace Engineer working on some top secret military crap. He’s an engineer so he has an answer for everything. Sometimes, I ask things just as rhetorical questions and he’ll actually give me a scientific answers to my questions. I tell him to shut up…that I wasn’t actually looking for an answer. Orlando is like my brother so I can tell him these kinds of things and he won’t get upset.
Other things about Orlando. He’s got a pilot’s license, he’s been to culinary school and is a great cook, and would you believe he’s 36? He’s got that baby face going on.
So, you see, Dude is a catch!
