Our favorite library, the bestest kid’s library evah!

Alright, I know I’m jumping around in time with going to Gotham City to Thanksgiving to being pregnant but now I’d like to take us back to Gotham City. Sorry, being pregnant makes you all sorts of scatterbrained.

What I love about being in the city is all the culture and arts that are offered within walking distance.

Within minutes we have all kinds of great restaurants, museums, buildings, art, theatre, etc.

Right around the corner and one block from our condo is an incredible and gigantic library for kids, our favorite, so we get our WALK on and head over there after breakfast.

We use this library to homeschool but it’s also the closest free Wi-Fi I can get since we don’t have a connection at the condo and everyone has “secured” their routers.

Built to inspire kids’ imaginations and to nurture the love of reading and the arts, this is one of the best libraries for the kids and parents!

Made for kids of all ages, they even have a fantastic play area for babies and toddlers.

I’m sure I’ll be making more use of this room in the future.

There are computer stations with fun yet educational programs that the kids can play.

The girls quickly made a new friend.

Isn’t he a cutie?

I love how kids can just meet but play together like they’ve been friends forever.

Not too long after that, they met another new friend. Girlfriend saw the kids playing and wanted to join.

Well why not? The more the merrier.

I love love love her hair!

And they were off…

The kids ran off to explore and play. How nice!

What’s really great is that I too got to make new friends.

Since the kids were off playing, their moms and I were able to chat and now Mommy has made some new friends too.

THE MOMS GET INVITED TO A PLAY

At the library, there is a puppet stage where the kids decided to put on a show for us.

In a matter of 10-15 minutes, they had already come up with a show. The other moms and I are not sure what the storyline is but we’re just happy to see our kids playing happily and using their wild imaginations. This place is so great for that.

FROM PUPPET SHOW TO STAGE PLAY

Aside from the puppet show, the kids discover a stage and have set their sights on doing a play for the moms.

This stage has a couple of different backdrops that open up like a book.

And, there are an assortment of costumes that the kids can wear.

See what I mean about stimulating creativity and imagination?

Just too cute.

Again, the moms were confused as to what the plot of the play was but whatevs, they were having so much fun!

That was a most fabulous day at the library.

The kids made new friends, I made new friends. Good day!
