Believe it or not this Jane wants to buy an RV and go across the GREAT USofA with the family on an extended trip. I don’t want to wait until I’m too old to enjoy everything! I wanna do it now, while I can enjoy it with my family! And by extended, I mean more than a month, maybe 3 months, maybe longer if we could somehow get everything somewhat self sustaining.
Of course when I say right now, I don’t really mean RIGHT NOW. It’s just not feasible for us to do this with everything we have going on. But, hopefully in the next couple of years when we’re ready to, we’ll hit the road in an RV with the the girls and see AMERICA. I’ve been all over the world but haven’t traveled the US hardly at all.
Homeschooling is PERFECT for an extended trip such as this. I’ve even met a couple that had taken a year off the travel the country with their kids in an RV. AWESOME!
Until then, I still like to look, even though I’m not ready to buy. Call it window car shopping. It so happens that RVs come through the dealer auctions that we go to.
Check out this RV we just saw the other day.
It has those sides that extend out.
Spacious but this particular until requires a big ass pick-up truck that can pull this thing.
It’s not self driving. I want one that is self driving.
Still, we go check it out for fun.

Bed is too small and a bit dated. Where would the girls sleep???
The couch is probably a sleeper sofa.
A WASHER!!! But where is the DRYER??? I guess it’s back to basics and you have to clothes-line it to dry it.
Bathroom/Shower.
If you’ve never been in an RV, it’s almost like a hotel room, only NICER and it’s yours.
You don’t have to worry about other people’s butts being on your toilet seat, or if the cleaning crew really did clean everything and change the sheets. You can just chill in the comforts of your own “home”. Plus, these days, you have TVs, DVDs, internet capability and I’m sure MORE stuff that I don’t know about.
Anyway, just wait. I may be blogging one day on the road with the fam while we’re going cross country!
Won’t that be exciting!
