It was a SUPER cold day in Metropolis. Cold weather makes me want to hibernate and I’m less apt to leave my house to go anywhere. Therefore, when one is hibernating, make sure to have some good red wine, some semi-sweet dark chocolate, and a warm, cozy fireplace. Cuddle with a book or your loved one and you’re set for the evening.
If you have access to Trader Joe’s near you, Dr. Jebediah Drinkwell’s 2007 Meritage is an excellent choice for a mellow, smooth blend red wine and for the bargain price of $6.99 per bottle. Nice! This is a great red wine for those who don’t like the bite that red wine sometimes has. Compliment with a delicious dark (but not bitter) chocolate and you won’t need to brave the cold to go anywhere. The party’s at home.
