Fun with Jane & Dick

I had to take Thelma and Louise  to “work” with me the other day. I had a meeting with the General Manager at one of the car auctions we go to and since there was no sitter (Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac were both at work) they had to tag along. They really didn’t want to come thinking it would be boring. I always laugh when my kids tell me they are bored. I tell them, well go be bored then. Some downtime and boredom does a body good. Boredom sparks creativity.

And true to nature, as with most kids who are bored, they find a way to keep themselves occupied with a little imagination. Inside, there was a beautiful Black Nissan 350Z. Being that they are my kids, the took to it immediately.

First it was Thelma’s turn to drive.

Then Louise wants her turn to drive.

What are all these buttons??

Now since you’re wearing a skirt, be sure to exit like a lady and don’t flash your panties to the world like all the celebs do. Stepping out of one’s car in a skirt is not an easy task but Louise manages just fine! Good job!

Nice and shiny now!  Um, Mommy, can we buy this car???

Actually, Mommy wouldn’t mind driving this car at all but you guys would have to ride in the trunk! (It’s a 2-seater.)

I guess they weren’t as inclined to purchase the car then.
