By Jane on February 25, 2010
A few shots of my girls all wrapped up in their towels after a shower. Auntie Lucy Lu decided to spoil them one day with warmed towels from the dryer.

Healthy Lunch: Tuna Fish Sandwiches.
By Jane on August 29, 2010
We love tuna fish at our house. Tuna is a great source for Omega 3s and aside, from the mayo, it’s pretty healthy…even then, you can use LESS mayo. Remember how I like to make the Tuna Sushi for the girls? They also like tuna fish sandwiches, where I substitute regular mayo for the Japanese [...]

Jane flips her shiz. Oh I could just kill a man.
By Jane on June 17, 2010
We left off with Dick, smirking. There are no pictures of the following events but I will try to illustrate for you when applicable. I’m trying to let go of everything but with no sleep for almost two days, I’m definitely not in the mood for further BUTTON PUSHING. and Dick knows exactly which buttons [...]

I love movies where chicks kick ass. One of my all-time favorites is the Matrix. Trinity is da bomb! We just happened to watch it recently and my girls LOVED it, especially Thelma. The next day, I was surprised to see that a mini-Trinity was walking around our house.

Louise is determined to complete her Summer Reading Book Club.
By Jane on July 29, 2011
You may remember last year when the girls were reading up a storm to claim their prize for the summer reading book club. Well, this year they were a little less motivated since they already knew what the prize was…a booklet that had freebies like a free ice cream, free tickets to our Ladies Soccer [...]

Coming out of the closet! (My old clothes that is.)
By Jane on January 24, 2010
I went to an art gallery exhibit opening the other day (Story to come out shortly after this one.). I’m still trying to stick to my daily goal of wearing something I haven’t worn in a long time. I got this shirt three-four years ago and I have only worn it two times…until now. I’m [...]

Life is extremely busy for us these days. I’m not sure if it’s good or bad but…it is what it is and we’re rolling with the punches. There’s never a dull moment, at least not for me. The girls may disagree but, whatever, kids are always complaining about being bored. Well, today was definitely not [...]

This Dude has some balls asking me to GIVE him a car. A Jag nonetheless.
By Jane on March 15, 2010
So, I get one of the most CRAZIEST emails from someone interested in buying a Jaguar S-Type that we’re selling LA. Hello, My Name is is Michael , I am a part-time college student and security officer. I have been struggling to get a car no matter what dealership i go to can’t get approved [...]

Anticipation of Snow results in LONG ASS line at Blockbuster.
By Jane on January 30, 2010
Like everyone else in Metropolis, I was out getting groceries in anticipation of the “WINTER STORM” coming our way. Dick was driving back from Gotham City and although I was somewhat worried he would get caught in the storm, the snow had just started. He suggested I hit the Blockbuster and get us some movies. [...]

Deck the Car with rows of Christmas lights…falalala…lalalala.
By Jane on November 24, 2010
I was amazed by how early the Christmas spirit had taken over this year. As soon as Halloween was over, Walmart had already had their Christmas stuff out and Christmas songs were already playing on the radio…and it wasn’t even Thanksgiving yet! Turns out, it’s not just businesses that are ready for the holidays. Attached [...]

It’s SO hard to find a good mechanic. Well we have found one!…kinda.
By Jane on December 2, 2009
Our garage is a multipurpose room for us. When we first bought the house, there was no room for a “playroom”. So, Dick sealed up the garage, cleaned it and painted the concrete. We layed down a couple of rugs, put our spare king bed out there, all the kids toys, and later the ping [...]

I was taking my girls to karate when OUT OF NOWHERE, a bird flies right in front of my car! Now, I’m one of those that swerve and NEARLY KILL MYSELF to avoid hitting an animal but this poor thing didn’t even give me a chance. When I saw it dart out in front of [...]

Warning: Meditation with Kids can induce more stress.
By Jane on September 1, 2010
It had a been a rough day…I was mentally and physically drained. So, I decided to take some time out to meditate, as Dick often tells me I should. Just before we were getting ready to go to soccer practice, I tell the girls (who are all dressed in their soccer gear…cleats and all)…let’s MEDITATE! [...]

My good friend of ten years, Orlando Bloom, is in LA visiting his family for the holidays. I met Orlando when we both worked at Ford together. We were in the same New Employee Orientation group as my other friends seen at the Pimps and Ho’s party.

I came across this old student desk from the 50s and I just loved it. The seat and desk height can be adjusted and the desk top lifts for storage of your school stuff. The gentleman I bought it from was so nice, he delivered it to my house. I was hoping he had two [...]

Giving our guests the bike tour: Movies, Starbucks, Greenway.
By Jane on March 23, 2011
The weather was perfect for biking so we decided to give our guests the bike tour, as we do with many of our guests. Like when Lucy went with Oscar, or when I went biking in my 4-inch heels, or when we went with the cousins around the suburbs or to get some burgers. Luckily, with [...]

A blue pacifier lollipop may not be manly but definitely signs of a great dad.
By Jane on December 20, 2009
Mark Anthony is a super duper guy, husband, father and brother-in-law. I liked him immediately when I met him. He’s also quite funny and silly. Here Mark is enjoying one of those pacifier lollipops…a blue one.

Thelma found a branch the other day. She liked it so much, she wanted to take it home. I didn’t realize she had a plan for it.

Thelma and Louise treat Ducky and Monk like their own kids, changing their clothes, feeding them…taking them everywhere we go. If we have to leave them at home, the girls always sweetly explain to Ducky and Monk why they aren’t allowed to come with us. Today, the girls decided to homeschool their own “kids”.
