DICK is driving me around METROPOLIS for a photo project I’m doing with www.buyusafirst.org. John Gibson, CEO of United Intelligence Corporation, is an entrepreneur who has several business of his own and also works as a consultant for women entrepreneurs. John is also my husband’s, mother’s, cousin’s husband. I meet John for the first time in California a month ago and immediately I like him. He’s Super-intelligent, seems to take everything in stride and is always smiling. Doesn’t he look kinda like Bill Gates?

The Best Green Tea Ice Cream EVAH!
By Jane on July 13, 2010
While I was at the protest, my uncle took the girls to his house and bribed them with what else but ICE CREAM. Being that Toronto is a very international city, we’re able to buy REAL green tea ice cream from the Korean/Japanese grocery store. I say real because I have bought green tea ice [...]

Homeschooling: Not for everyone but DEFINITELY for us!!
By Jane on September 14, 2009
I know there are people who are out there that are like, “Homeschool?!?!? How do your kids get the “social” part of school?” My response is…”Besides letting the kids out of their cage for about an hour a day to stretch out their legs, we occasionally take them to the local grocery store to see how other humans interact.”

When everyone went to Vietnam: Visiting the Chi Khiem Royal Concubine Temple.
By Jane on February 27, 2011
It’s taken me some time to get around to posting these pictures of when my parents, sister, and uncle were in Vietnam over the Christmas Holidays cause there were SO many. The last time I posted anything from their trip was when I was quoting words of wisdom from Queenie, her response to me publicizing her words, her response [...]

Amidst rumors of a threesome with a prostitute, Beckham suing mad and “charitable”. I smell a spin.
By Jane on September 29, 2010
So I was on Perez (surprise, surprise) and the most recent story is: “Money From Beckham Prostitute-Lawsuit Will Go To Charity” If you didn’t know, Becks, being the HAWTNESS that he is (and only when he DOESN’T speak), is recently rumored to have had a THREESOME with a PROSTITUTE (Irma Nici). Of course, he’s TOTALLY [...]

Not exactly roughing it for a third world country.
By Jane on March 1, 2011
The last time I was in Vietnam was over ten years ago and alot has changed since then. What used to be rustic and poor-looking has turned into a metropolitan nouveau city with plenty of tourism. From the pictures of the hotels that my family stayed in, they weren’t exactly “roughing it” in any rustic-type [...]

Laundry, laundry…and more laundry!
By Jane on October 4, 2009
Um, seriously? I can’t seem to ever catch up on laundry. One would think that I would be super-anal about laundry but the exact opposite is actually true. I don’t sort whites and colors. I mix in the linens with the clothes. I try to cram as much into the machine as I possible can. [...]

Kwik Kwote: A Key for the Men’s Room…WTF?!?!?
By Jane on September 17, 2009
“Why the hell do we have to have a key for the bathroom? That’s some bull-shit!! Like, that’s SO ridiculous that you have to, like…. …get a fuckin’ key… …then go piss… …then like, have to go give the fuckin’ key back. I mean, I don’t know….that’s stupid!!” -An Unhappy Starbucks Male Customer [...]

Robot representative vs. Live Person. Both frustrate the living hell out of me.
By Jane on August 10, 2011
It’s been a while since I had a Jane Rant (last one was to rant about the way Dick eats his corn on the cob) I guess it’s my loving, pleasing, wonderful personality beaming through and not my other bitchy personality. Ha! Bitchy Jane usually comes out when school starts (ugh). The kids are just as [...]

My Asian, nearly non-existent eye lashes definitely need mascara!
By Jane on December 15, 2010
I’m Asian and we’re not really known for having long eyelashes. Actually, Asians are lucky if they even have an inkling of lashes. Unlike my Persian-mixed daughters who inherited long luscious lashes from her father’s side, I am not as fortunate as they are. Therefore, I need a little assistance from the mascara wand. My [...]

In the Mountains: Memorial Weekend Fun.
By Jane on June 8, 2011
You remember every summer we head to the mountains with the family? We have been going every year since I was a kid…that makes for many, many years. I feel very fortunate that we are so close to one of the most visited national parks in the country. People come here to camp, to tube, [...]

Some people just don’t get the social cues.
By Jane on August 10, 2010
I was at the Asian grocery store the other day and it was PACKED! It’s the day that all the produce comes in FRESH and everyone always comes that day. So, I’m standing in line, which is backed up, and there’s a woman at the register who is yammering away. You know the kind…the ones [...]

Pregnancy Craving for TCBY causes Jane to nearly open a can of WHOOP ASS on Dick.
By Jane on March 22, 2011
I was out running errands with Dick the other day when I spot a TCBY. What joy! I’m ECSTATIC because the one by my house has closed down since the sprouting of newer, trendier frozen yogurt shops like Menchi’s. Menchi’s is okay but this Jane loves me some TCBY and prefers it. Guess that’s why [...]

Been listening to my Pulp Fiction CD alot lately. Here’s one of my favorites that I like to sing along to, pretending that I’m a fabulous singer. No, I am not singing along in this video. Enjoy! Quentin sure does know how to pick the best songs for his soundtracks. So GROOVY! This Jane digs [...]

Procrastinator turned Multitasker. Carpe Diem!
By Jane on November 10, 2009
The other day I was swamped with work to do because I had procrastinated for far too long on things that must be done. Procrastination was now biting me in the ass because I was missing out on one of the most beautiful days of Fall being that it was warm, sunny and mid-60s. While [...]

Biking with the family to Olive Garden for dinner.
By Jane on October 8, 2010
As you may or may not know, we have our own piece of Europe in my back yard, where if we wanted to, we can bike to almost all the places we need…big names including Super Target, Super Wal-mart, Starbucks, Ross, Old Navy, Hobby Lobby, Chick-fil-A, Cracker Barrel, Victoria’s Secret, Pier 1…well, there’s just too [...]
Bikini Preggar Jane gets her tan on with natural sun therapy. Doc says I’m low on Vitamin D.
By Jane on March 27, 2011
My doctor says I’m low on Vitamin D…like almost everyone in America these days. We’re in our houses, offices, cars and we don’t get out much. Especially during winter. The doctor had prescribed me some Vitamin D supplements but as you may have guessed, I would rather get it naturally than to take some kind [...]

Jane and Lucy Represent…East Coast, West Coast.
By Jane on December 29, 2009
It’s morning and Lucy and I decide to go have coffee. We walk to Starbucks and I notice that the Starbucks completely in the shade and because outside is the entire reason I like to go have coffee, we decide to go across the street to the Coffee Bean where it is nice and sunny and try [...]
