My dear sister, Lucy Lu, is here for the holidays and look who’s with her this time! It’s her new baby…OSCAR!

Oscar is a Brussels Griffon and his full name is OSCAR MEYER WEINER SHNITZEL. Six  months old and a total cutie-pie weighing only about 3-4 pounds. He MAY get a tiny bit bigger than this but not much more.

Thelma and Louise ADORE him. Oscar NEVER makes a sound and aside from sitting there, all he does is cuddle and sleep. He follows Lucy everywhere she goes, diligently.

Notice how the girls always hold him the position shown above…cradled like a baby. Yes, that’s one of those hair clips Oscar has to hold back the hairs from covering his eyes.

Oscar is the new BABY in the family.

The girls love caring after him and letting him fall asleep on them. He loves this too as this is all I’ve seen him do.

Like Lucy, I like lazy dogs that just chill. Yappy don’t make me happy.

Look! I totally hold him like a  baby too! It’s just the way you want to hold small dogs…at least it is for me.

Oscar is so little that I can make a green bean cassarole with the one hand and hold him in the other!

I love Oscar. He is a total cutie-pie! Sometimes he reminds me of a miniature monkey though with those long, furry, brown legs.

The girls often bicker at who’s turn it is to hold Oscar. Poor thing gets man kid-handled like crazy.

I call Oscar a “vhimpy vimp” because he is so timid. Yes, a “whimpy-whimp” but in my weird accent.

I mean this with great love.
