I had this idea to let my Mom’s new Pekingese (Yuki) mate with Oscar because I thought they would make cute babies. Lucy is up for it but reminds me that it might be difficult since Oscar only has one ball. Yes, one ball. No matter, we’re going to give it a try. Apparently though, this is an official breed of dog….a GRIFFONESE!

However, before I knew there was already an official breed, I was thinking of my own names for the mix. I think mine sounds better. A PEKI-GRIFFON!

Anyway, Lucy is in town visiting and the girls want Oscar and Yuki to make it official…you know, before they have babies together, they should get married! (Even though their parents didn’t.)

GETTING READY

The girls are making us get dressed up for the wedding. They insist on picking out our clothes and doing our make up.

Louise is helping Lucy get ready while Thelma picks out stuff for me to wear.

Thelma picks out this orange skirt and I decide to turn it into a dress.

They make me put on some pantyhose. Ya’ll know how much I hate wearing nude pantyhose.

I throw on a belt. It seems that’s my answer for making everything fashionable these days. Just throw on a belt!

NOT BAD, RIGHT?

I actually like the ensemble I helped put together…you might see me sporting this orange skirt around.

Thelma also makes me sport these lovely red shoes. These belong to Lucy and have been in her closet for a while. They are also too small for my feet but I try to manage for the wedding.

THE CAKE

The girls make the cake…which is a sugar cookie with Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia on it and sprinkles on top.

Ummm, why are we eating the cake before the ceremony as even started???

THE CEREMONY

Ok,  where is the groom?

Louise insisted on having one pig tail.

Oh, there he is but they’re already messing around!

Ok, ready?

Lucy goes first.

The photographer, guest, and dog-marryer is getting emotional.

Yes, I think they girls are happy it’s “official” now.

They can have happy dog sex without sinning and create some Peki-Griffons.

(Just hope we can get past the ONE BALL.)

I’m just glad to be able to take off the shoes!
