My 1.5 acre property has a massive amount of trees. I love it because I feel so much closer to nature yet I don’t have to live in the boonies away from civilization.

There are so many people out there with personalized decals on their cars. Here’s one I spotted the other day. Darius & Tina. Together 4 Ever. Seriously? Is this really necessary? Here I am professing how much I want to use my husband as a punching bag sometimes. And here they are, OBVIOUSLY COMMITTED to [...]

By Jane on May 10, 2012
So, now that we’ve sold my super sweet S500, check out my NEW OLD ride! It’s a 1988 Super-Pimp Suburban! I know it doesn’t look like something I would drive but I actually love it! It’s my Swagger Wagon. Actually, do you remember in Kill Bill, how Uma had the Pussy Wagon? This is MY [...]

OMG!! Just found some of my childhood stuff: The Green Index Card Box.
By Jane on February 25, 2010
I was going thru my old room at my mom’s house. She’s your typical Vietnamese woman that keeps everything. Although I’m not usually a fan of hoarding, there are some things that bring back so many memories and give me a good laugh. So, I think this might be a series of posts as there [...]

People camping out at the mall for iPad 2.
By Jane on March 14, 2011
While at the mall the other, I notice some people sitting outside the Apple Store. They were camping out for the iPad 2. The only time I ever camped out for anything was for New Kids on the Block tickets…but really, it was just to hang out with my friends and was something to do. [...]

Your Daily Osho: Do-It-Yourself. Life is what you make of it. Is it beautiful or ugly?
By Jane on March 3, 2012
It’s been a long while since I’ve picked up a book so I’ve been feeling literally (literally) intellectually starved. More than that, I needed a refresher spiritually from spiritual guru Osho. I just feel drained and needed to be reminded to be in the moment, to not to let ego take over, and to remember [...]

Dick, as usual, is always trying to get out of having to change a diaper but he loves to hog the baby. After hogging the baby one day, he comes running to me saying, “Baby wants Mommy!” and darts off to go back outside where he was working out. I’m thinking Benz is wanting BOOBIE [...]

Thelma and Louise eating worms?
By Jane on November 11, 2010
Whenever I am lazy to cook and need something fast, I always check to see what kind of INSTANT RAMEN I have in my pantry. Today, we have Chapagetti. It’s a non-soupy, instant noodle that tastes like a black bean sauce. Very yummy! Image by www.homecookingdiary.com. (I threw away the packaging before I remembered to [...]

Persian, German, English Slow Song: “I can’t breathe.” Beautiful.
By Jane on December 9, 2009
This was a song sent to Dick from his cousin. The song “I can’t breathe” is by a German Band named Bruz where the lead singer is Persian. Actually, I don’t understand the song at all but you won’t need to in order to like the song. It’s a beautiful slow rap ballad with a [...]

Sade’s New Video: Babyfather. Just the nostalgia I was talking about!
By Jane on May 6, 2010
Yet another great video introduced by my beloved Perez. It’s SADE’S new video for her latest release, Babyfather. The song is SPECTACULAR! Before this Album, Soldier of Love, Sade had not released an album since her hit, Lovers Rock. I loved this album! Sade’s voice is EFFORTLESS, SOOTHING and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The video is also [...]

Jane loses humiliation bet but can definitely ROCK a mustache!
By Jane on August 24, 2010
With Lucy and my cousins being in town, we’re playing lots of cards. You remember the popular Vietnamese card game, Tien Len? TIME FOR HUMILIATION BET Normally, I don’t play for money but we had been playing for a little just to make it interesting. Well, it got boring one night while we were at [...]

Our homeschool co-op encourages and allows kids to explore their inner creativity. On this day, the middle schoolers used their hands, literally & physically, to create art. Swan head. Awesome! Snake with open mouth and fangs protruding. Siamese twins is what I believe this student told me this was. Writing with a piece of chalk. [...]
