We only eat out occasionally when I’m lazy to cook or there’s a special occasion. Today was a lazy day so we decide to take a bike ride out the INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PANCAKES for breakfast. Now, I’m a mediocre, well almost novice bike rider. My limited riding in my childhood involved a used Pink Panther bike my mom Fanny Mae bought at a garage sale. My sister and I shared it and we took turns riding up and down my neighbor’s 200ft driveway. Back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. You get the picture. Fanny Mae didn’t allow us to ride on the neighborhood streets for fear that we would get hit by cars.

To my hubby…Happy Valentine’s Day…Uh huh.
By Jane on February 15, 2012
A perfect story for my Valentino, Dick…forwarded to me from my friend, Confuschia. The husband had just finished reading a new book “You Can Be The Man of Your House”. He stormed to his wife in the kitchen & announced, “From now on you need to know that I’m the man of the house & [...]

How NOT to hit on a pregnant woman…
By Jane on March 9, 2011
I’m minding my own business and am totally enthralled with the massive amounts of different orchids. My mom had finished looking at the orchids before me (since I was busy taking pictures) and had taken the girls to go ride on a choo-choo train that goes around the mall (Some new gimmick to get more [...]

My kids have a few jokes to tell.
By Jane on October 1, 2010
Thelma is often telling us jokes that she made up herself. Most times, we have to think about it for a second and then still, she’ll have to explain it to us. Leaving us thinking…hmmmmm. However, it’s usually funny to us because well, (1) we’re her parents and (2) just the innocence of her train [...]

Saving my daffodils from the rain.
By Jane on March 2, 2011
Because we were nearly flooded from all the rain, the rain was killing my daffodils that had already popped out their head. Why let them get all mashed up outside? Such a waste when I can enjoy them inside. Look how filthy they are from all the dirt/mud splatters. No problem, nothing a rinse can’t cure. [...]

Preggar Sweets Junkie: Krispy Kreme
By Jane on April 27, 2011
The girls’ best friend, Kristin Stewart, came over the other day to play. We had gone to sign them up for a summer camp together for a couple of weeks this summer. It was a crazy, blistering, unseasonably cold day that day. I made sure I asked the girls to bring sweaters but they refused [...]

“Sherlock and Watson” on the search for a Wasp Nest.
By Jane on November 19, 2009
In the last few days we’ve killed about 3 wasps in our house. Wasps, not bees. Their sting is much worse, or so I’ve heard, but I’m not wanting to find out first hand. I’m not scared of bees at all but for some reason, wasps, hornets or yellow jackets seem way angrier and scarier. [...]

Someone has a slight case of the Trucker Crack.
By Jane on March 24, 2010
I’m not sayin’ who, but with hipster jeans and low riders these days, girls be showin’ their asses just as much as da boyz. Showing some occasional crack still beats having your jeans up to your boobs. Snot me, iz someBUTTy else. -Jane, Occassional Victim of Low Rise Jeans. (Still doesn’t mean this is me.)

I got a good forward the other day…and by “good forward” I mean it wasn’t too long or wordy, had lots of pictures and made me smile. Anything longer than and page with lots of words and no pictures will SURELY not be read if you forward it to me. This particular forward was full [...]

Confuchsia cooks me some soul food!
By Jane on November 23, 2011
Confuchsia brought her kids over to my house the other day so that the kids could play and the adults can hang. Much to my surprise, when she came over, Confuchsia said… “I’m gonna cook for you today. You just relax and hangout and I’m gonna make you some REAL SOUL FOOD.” I was so [...]

Your Daily Benz: The girls dress up Benz in their old ladybug ballet outfit.
By Jane on May 23, 2012
As I was saying, my girls just love dressing up their little brother in their girly clothes from when they were small. Their most recent make-over was to put Benz in a ladybug ballet outfit they had for a recital when they were 4 and 5. Look at my sweet girlies!! People used to ask [...]

Lucy has sent me pictures of Oscar’s new puppies! Oscar was mated with another Brussels Griffon, whereby the female’s owner wanted to have some puppies since both her dog and Oscar were similar in size. Lucy and the owner had agreed to split the pups, which originally totaled four. Impressive sperm for a one-baller, Oscar! [...]

Depreciation is a bitch. I will never buy a brand new car again.
By Jane on February 10, 2010
Because we have somehow found ourselves to be running a car business, our ride changes constantly. It’s awesome because I get to drive all different kinds of cars and figure them out. Keeps my brain working since I have to remember how to release the trunk, how to turn on the windshield wipers, and how [...]

I love movies where chicks kick ass. One of my all-time favorites is the Matrix. Trinity is da bomb! We just happened to watch it recently and my girls LOVED it, especially Thelma. The next day, I was surprised to see that a mini-Trinity was walking around our house.
