Dick brought along our dog that he bought for us when we first started dating. That was 14 years ago so you can imagine he’s quite old now.

Meanwhile, I’m watching the kids play and I see this cute little boy with the most fabulous hair. I can’t resist so I ask his mom if I can take some pictures.

LOCKED OUT OF THE CAR? BEEN THERE, DONE THAT.

While we’re there, this poor mom locked her keys in the car. I can sympathize since I’ve done this before when Thelma was just a baby. As soon as I got out of the car, I shut it, locked with her inside and the car is running. I freak out and run inside to tell the attendant. Luckily, this guy just walked in, heard me and told me he had a Jimmy in his car. What luck! He had me out in seconds. You don’t know how appreciative I was.

Anyway, since it was starting to get dark and cold, we wanted to wait until someone came. Besides, my girls love making new friends. Kids make friends so easily and they all started playing in the car.
