My container for the iced tea is stained pretty badly. But, it’s impossible to clean and is only getting worse. How do I scrub this out with a sponge? I’ve tried and it doesn’t work!

OXY CLEAN TO THE RESCUE???

Recently, my sister Lucy Lu recommend that I try Oxy Clean to brighten and whiten my laundry. You know the infomercial with the super-excited guy that’s screaming how great this stuff is. Billy Mays I believe is his name and he recently died from a head injury inside a turbulent plane. So sad.

I try it on my laundry and the sheets, towels and clothes are so much brighter and whites are SO much whiter! So, why not try it for other stains?

ADD, STIR AND LET IT SIT

So I decide to use Oxy Clean to see if it’ll just dissolve all these tea stains that have stained the inside of my container since I can’t scrub the inside.

HALF AN HOUR LATER

I know it’s hard to tell here because the water is still murky but half an hour later and alot of the gunk HAS dissolved.

AN HOUR LATER

I dump out the water and lightly sponge the inside. Ta-da!

I’d say that’s quite an improvement.

See how the handle is nice and clean too?

Now you know there’s no way to get in there and clean that!
