Louise was running through the planets the other day. She was trying to impress me with her knowledge of all the planets. “Mommy, I know all the planets and in order!!” “Oh yeah? What are they?” “Mercury…Venus…Earth…” (Counts on her fingers)

After the co-op, we rushed to bring Thelma to the training academy she attends. Louise and I decided to be out in the sun, rather than sit in the car and wait, so that we can get our Vitamin D and enjoy the beautiful weather. Kids never get sick of bubbles. And look, Louise found [...]

Pregnancy Woes: Jane needs Depends.
By Jane on May 2, 2011
Quite embarrassing as it is, I must bring it to light because I feel I am not the only one out there that is experiencing random pregnancy incontinence. Remember how I mentioned having leakage problems during the winter. Well, it was around the same time RHINITIS was at its worst and I was feeling the [...]

My sleeping beauties… I can’t believe how grown they are. Just the sweetest things in the world. I adore these girls. Such a difference from when Thelma was 18 months and Louise was just born. Louise was literally 3-4 days old. It’s true what they say…kids grow too fast. I can’t believe it’s been 8 years. [...]

By Jane on January 21, 2011
The other day, we were blessed with unseasonable warm weather for this time of the year so we decided to take our bikes out and enjoy it! Plus, we had to go get some groceries. The hill next to our house was still iced over in parts so we had to be super careful. Dick’s [...]

Jane has no qualms about child labor. Everyone helps clean the house!
By Jane on August 23, 2011
We had spent our first night at Mr. Bean’s house so the kids could play. The next day, it was time to get to work on our rental property. The first thing we always do when we stay at one of our properties is give it a good cleaning. I don’t like to stay where other [...]

My hydrangeas, before the storm.
By Jane on June 22, 2010
I love hydrangeas. They are so beautiful. Here are some shots of my hydrangeas before we had that crazy hale storm. My mom, who is an avid gardener, gave these to me when they were just wee little things. Now they’ve gotten quite large and make my yard look so whimsical. She tells me you can [...]

A blue pacifier lollipop may not be manly but definitely signs of a great dad.
By Jane on December 20, 2009
Mark Anthony is a super duper guy, husband, father and brother-in-law. I liked him immediately when I met him. He’s also quite funny and silly. Here Mark is enjoying one of those pacifier lollipops…a blue one.

By Jane on February 22, 2010
As I posted the other day, I recently found a really nice dress at Goodwill. The dress was still brand new, with tags with an original price tag of $72. However, I get it for the fabulous price of $12! Considering it’s winter and this is more of a summer dress, I was kinda bummed [...]

We visit a beautiful garden belonging to a Historic House for Easter.
By Jane on April 5, 2010
My mom read in the news paper somewhere that this historic house was having an Easter thing for kids so we go. An egg hunt was held in the gardens, which are just beautiful here. I think that this place is used as a venue for weddings. It’s gorgeous!

The girls noticed a pay phone the other day and commented: “Mommy look! You don’t see much of these anymore!” So true. With the advent of the cell phone, who needs a pay phone these days? Good riddens though. The earpiece on those things are nasty! The last time I used one was over ten [...]

Just because I’m in my last trimester doesn’t mean the work stops. Besides loving to cut my grass, I wanna make sure I’m in shape to deliver this baby. Sometimes it’s a bumpy ride…hopefully this won’t put me into labor. Although I may use it as an alternative to be naturally induced. Ha! Yep, still [...]
