Since Dick and I were arguing about making the bed, there was no time to make dinner. So, I just threw some pasta together…you can get all the exact ingredients (for the major stuff) in this recipe at TRADER JOE’S. We discovered this great tapenade pasta one day while shopping at Trader Joe’s where they [...]

Because I’m a do-it-yourself Jane and I don’t like paying for things I can do myself, I’ve learned how to do a few electrician-type things around the house. I can change electrical outlets and even install new lights and ceiling fans. Fortunately, I’ve never electrocuted myself. A plus, since I need to retain all the [...]

Stripe bass and pickerel for dinner!
By Jane on July 18, 2010
So we pan fried the striped bass, which tastes great with rice. The pickerel was steamed and topped off with a soy-ginger sauce and green onions. I understand now why the pickerel is so coveted. Talk about YUMMY! -Jane, Fish Lover.

Your Daily Benz: Turning signal lessons from Benz.
By Jane on February 29, 2012
A couple of turning signal lessons from my 9-month old son, Benz. Can you believe he’s 9 months already?!?!? When turning, always use your turning signals. Btw, these pastel ruffle pants are compliments of grandma and used to belong to the girls. It takes a real man to wear ruffle pants. Before turning, don’t just use your mirrors… [...]

When I’m trying not to pick my feet and they start to heal…they also start to itch like a mother! This is what causes one who has my disease, Dermatillomania, to pick their feet. It soothes the crazy itchiness from healing skin. Kinda the same way that scabs start to itch and peeling it… although [...]

Thelma and Louise meet and interview their fashion idol, Jeannie Mai.
By Jane on April 29, 2012
Remember how I told you my girls are HUGE fans of Jeannie Mai, host of the fashion makeover show, How do I look? Well, since she couldn’t make it to Louise’s birthday, she instead came over for dinner one night. Lucy had a small dinner party at her house where I made some Persian food. [...]

It seems this last year we’ve had lots of visitors and when they visit, we usually chill on my back porch, play ping pong or go biking or all of the above. So, my latest visitor was my Cousin and his son, Dumbledore, who I call my cousin too because it’s so hard to remember [...]

Benz has been crawling for the last month or so and wants to go places. The other day, he wanted to go mess with the blinds, one of his favorite past times, and got stuck between the bed and the wall. I had put a pillow in between there so he wouldn’t hurt himself but [...]

EVERDAY OSHO: CHOOSE NATURE Wherever you find that society is in conflict with nature, choose nature – whatever the cost. You will never be a loser. Jihad Jane? Definitely a case of mistaken identity here.
By Jane on March 10, 2010
Apparently this JANE was conspiring with terrorists and was hired to kill that controversial Swedish political cartoonist Lars Vilks. JIHAD JANE. I don’t know anything about him or her but reading “Jihad Jane” on CNN.com completely caught my eye. Click HERE for the full story. -Jane, Not Jihad Jane.
